Triton Poker announces €1M Cash Game with Partypoker

Partypoker has sealed a sponsorship deal for Triton’s Super High Roller Series in Montenegro.

From May 12th to the 18th the high stakes events will run at the Maestral Resort & Casino in Budva.

High rollers from around the world will play four events:

• HK $250,000 Triton NLHE Side Event
• HK $1 Million Triton Shortdeck Ante-only Side Event
• HK $1 Million Triton Series Montenegro 2018 Main Event
• HK $250,000 Triton 6-Max Shortdeck Ante-only Side Event

Partypoker is pleased with the partnership; John Duthie, President of partypoker LIVE proudly announced “Triton is the world’s leading Super High Roller brand, known for putting on some of the biggest and most innovative tournaments on the planet. It’s a real privilege to position our brand alongside theirs at this elite festival.”

Ambassador and high roller for partypoker, Jason Koon added “Triton has been putting on some of the best and most fun high-roller tournaments in the world for the past few years. I really like all of the folks within their organization and am super excited to play the events, especially the Shortdeck event!”

Another super high roller and partypoker ambassador, Ike Haxton, further supported the partnership stating “I am so excited! Looking forward to playing the 6-Max and the Main Event, Triton always puts on great events, and I’m really looking forward to my first time visiting Montenegro.”

Partypoker has been steadily outmaneuvering PokerStars on the online and live fronts, launching events such as their $25,000 “Millions World” tournament and their $40,000,000 guaranteed POWERFEST series this month. partypoker’s ambitiousness has been rewarded when it was crowned the Online Operator of the Year, dethroning the three-year-running award winner: PokerStars.

This partnership was not the only announcement made by Triton Poker.

€1M Triton Cash Game video series

Triton poker has always been associated with high stakes cash games; it has previously held tournament series in Manila, Macau, and Montenegro with massive side cash games with minimum buy-ins ranging from US$1M to US$3M. Tom Dwan, John Juanda, and Phil Ivey were among the pros invited to those previous events.
