“As the annual Super High Roller Bowl out of Las Vegas continues to be the gold standard for high roller tournament poker, we knew the time was right to expand the format globally,” said Sampson Simmons, vice president of content at Poker Central. “China is one of poker’s largest markets, and Macau Billionaire Poker is a natural partner to help bring the Super High Roller Bowl series to poker fans internationally.”

According to the announcement, the Super High Roller Bowl China will take place from March 20 – 22, 2018 at the Babylon Casino, Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, in Macau.

HK$100 Million guarantee!

The inaugural event comes with a jaw-dropping HK$100 Million guarantee (~US$12.8M). Buy-in is HK$2,100,000. While all the red carpet poker players will surely want to be part of this monumental event, it is however “by invitation” with a 49-player cap. At this time, no names have yet been disclosed.

“We are delighted to launch a new edition of the Super High Roller Bowl with Poker Central,” said Tim Chen, CEO of Macau Billionaire Poker. “We wanted to raise the stakes by providing a prize pool befitting of the event’s renowned stature – we can’t wait to see what unfolds at this inaugural event.”
