No Limit Hold'em - 6-Max (Event #9)
Born in Hong Kong, Jason Lo hasn’t been a serious poker player for all that long, with his first recorded live cash arriving in April 2013. Despite his career still being in it’s early stages, he was recruited to the team of pros representing Poker King Club. This should help Lo to build on his one large tournament result to date.
He began his live career with a 5th place at the Macau Poker Cup, taking home USD$4,315 before 29th place at the Red Dragon Event the following year saw a further USD$4,000 added to his cashes list. November 2014 saw Lo take home a huge 1st prize when he managed to win the ACOP Warm Up Event, for USD$154,385. This win eclipsed his previous best score by over USD$150,000. Jason Lo took home another smaller cash at the ACOP series a few months later, in the form of a USD$6,152 win for 7th place. The Macau Poker Cup the following month saw Lo add a further USD$5,751 to his bankroll, when he took 3rd place in a Holdem side event.
Some may see Jason Lo’s career so far as unconvincing, with only one big tournament score to really illuminate it. But, he has not been playing professionally for long, and has plenty of time to prove that his victory at the ACOP series was not a fluke.
