Feng Zhao is an established professional poker player from Singapore, having notched his first live cash back in 2006.
His first two cashes were small ones in Los Angeles, USA, and it was only in 2012 that he became a seasoned competitor on major Asian tours. He was runner up in the 2014 APT Player of the Year race. Feng Zhao’s first serious cash arrived in May 2013, when he won a 6 handed APPT event in Cebu, taking home just over USD$15,000 in the process. July 2013 saw Zhao improve upon that result, when he finished 6th at the APT Macau Main Event, for USD$25,522. The APT Manila Main Event in May 2014 led to his break through result, when he took 1st place and an outstanding USD$126,500 score. Another victory came later in the year, when Zhao won the APT Manila High Roller, taking home USD$33,740 in the process. April 2015, and Zhao took 7th place in an APT manila Main Event, for just over USD$15,100. Feng Zhao is certainly a rising star from Singapore, wih numerous final tables and a major title to his name in the 3 years hat he has been a regular on the Asian tour. His runner up for APT Player of the Year accolade only serves to underline his quality as a player.
