Natural8-WSOPC: Daniel Dvoress and Sam Greenwood score big; Ring Event #14 in several hours

The richest online event ever staged is in its final week with the promised nine figure $100 million guarantee soon to breach the horizon. The WSOP Super Circuit Online Series got underway on May 3rd at GG Network Natural8 with the last of the games taking place on May 31st. Out of the iconic 18 gold rings up for grabs, 13 have been claimed along with 387 side games won. The next chance at a gold is Ring Event #14: Deepstack Bounty Hunters $500K GTD which starts in several hours.

To date, the ongoing festival has paid out a cumulative $ 97.4 million. Last night, over $ 2.1 million was claimed across 17 games. Coming out the wealthiest were two Natural8 pro players, Daniel Dvoress and Sam Greenwood while player AndyAtTheBike hit bank at two events. We’ve got the day’s highlights for you below including info on the upcoming ring events.

As mentioned above, next chance to lock in one of the gold rings is in several hours. Ring Event #14: Deepstack Bounty Hunters $500K GTD kicks off on May 27 at 02:00 (HKT). Registration is ongoing. At the time of writing, 242 were registered and climbing. Among them were signed players GGPoker Ambassador Felipe Ramos and Natural8 Team Hot Ambassador Thai Ha.

This is the fourth installment of the same event. Each of the earlier three produced over 3,000+ entries and first prize payouts eclipsing $ 47K. The largest was won by JoaoValli at Ring Event #6 earning $ 51,878 plus a massive $ 81.9K in bounty rewards for a final payout of $ 133.8K. The other two bounty ring winners, Chi Jen Chu “PetitFoxx” and NeverGambol, earned final payouts over $ 70K each.

Update: WSOPC Ring Event #16: PLO MAIN EVENT $1M GTD

As we approach the final day of the series, steadily on the rise are the two main features – the PLO Main Event and the Main Event. At the WSOPC Ring Event #16: PLO MAIN EVENT $1M GTD, it has already surpassed its guarantee. With a cumulative 1,437 entries, the pot sits at $ 1,365,150. There are 22 Day 1 heats remaining.

Among the 178 players that have secured a final day spot is GGPoker Ambassador Fedor Holz who is running second in chips. In the lead is Hungarian pro Andras Nemeth. Other notable players through to the final day are Isaac Baron, Laurynas Levinskas, Amichai Barer, Patrick Leonard “Babu$hka”, Lucas Greenwood, Gavin Cochrane, Guo Dong, Lester Edoc “mon$terDad”, and ring winner ShopChop96.

Update: WSOPC Ring Event #17: MAIN EVENT $5M GTD

Out of all the WSOPC events in the roster, the prestigious WSOPC Ring Event #17: MAIN EVENT $5M GTD is what everyone comes out for. A long list of notable players have already secured their final day spot. Last night, Ring Event #3 winner Chi Jen Chu “PetitFoxx” and notable Laurynas Levinskas secured theirs.

Previous day’s qualifiers were Bertrand “ElkY” Grospelier, Fedor Holz, Boris Becker, Henri Buehler, Alex Foxen, Kristen Bicknell, Daniel Dvoress, Andras Nemeth, Adrian Mateos, Lucas Greenwood, Matthias Eibinger, Almedin Imsirovic, Michael Soyza, Thai Ha, George Wolff, and 2019 WSOPE Main Event winner Alexandros Kolonias.

Series ring winners also making it through were TheMadQueen, ChilaxChuck, BlaireauEnColere, ShopChop96, and 800-522-4700. COLOSSUS winner WhiteChick currently sits in second rank. Philippines’s Lester Edoc “mon$terDad” and UK’s Gavin Cochrane are among the top 10 in chips.

To qualify, 22 remaining daily Day 1 heats lead up to the event. Currently 4,662 entered with 653 through to the final day.

Sam Greenwood earned his first WSOPC win at one of the $ 5K High Roller events. Greenwood triumphed over 51 heavy hitters defeating Kristen Bicknell at heads up. Greenwood shipped $ 94,390.95, which was the single largest win of Day 23. Additionally, Greenwood placed second at the Natural8 Rest of the World Daily Leaderboard for $ 788.

All the usual suspects turned up for this $ 5K High Roller event with several needing more than one bullet just to cash in. For Daniel Dvoress, it took three tries to reach the top and ship the $ 83.5K first prize. He denied WSOPE 2019 winner Alexander Kolonias a first series win.

Dvoress also finished in the money at the other two $ 5K High Roller events – 3rd at the event above for $ 38.9K and 8th at another for $ 10.6K. This brought him a combined $ 133K to become Day 23’s top earner. Dvoress was also awarded $ 1,068 for winning the Natural8 Rest of the World Daily Leaderboard.

Despite the miss for AndyAtTheBike, he won at the $ 2.5K event besting 64 other runners. For this AndyAtTheBike collected a combined $ 104,357.
