Both players, 10-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Ivey and online legend Tom Dwan, can probably be named the “enigmas of poker”. They rarely show up in the spotlights, especially for tournaments. Ivey had only played a couple of World Series Of Poker events in the past few years and Dwan even less than that.

So, when they both confirm their attendance to an event like the Triton Super High Roller Series, it is indeed worth noting. As Ivey and Dwan have been strong supporters of the Triton brand since the first event in Manila January 2016, it is not too much of a surprise to see them on the attendees list.
Phil Ivey will be happy to get his mind off recent casino lawsuit dramas and Tom Dwan might in turn get painfully reminded of some epic televised cash game fails during his participation at the last festival.
In addition, some of the other confirmed players are Stephen Chidwick, Aussie Millions Main event winner Bryn Kenney and Jason Koon.
After a stellar year 2018, Justin Bonomo will also be attending the party. He will try to extend his lead at the All-Time Money list.
Event Schedule
The Triton Poker Series in Jeju, South Korea, has been scheduled for 2nd to 9th March 2019. Triton had been teasing with the biggest buy-in ever, but it seems that it won’t happen during this festival.
The list of events looks promising, however, including the world’s first Short-Deck, Ante-Only Bounty event (HKD 250k buy-in + HKD 250k bounty).
The Main Event will have a HKD 2M buy-in (USD 254,829).

Either way, we will have some interesting events to look forward to, especially as we will all be able to follow the action on Twitch and other platforms.
Lex Veldhuis and Randy Lew “Nanonoko” will be commenting the stream in English. Chinese commentary will be provided by Chen An Lin, Wang Haoxiang and Celina Lin and will also be available on the Chinese platforms.
