For a player with a live tournament career still at its early stages, Anh has already created a lot of noise so to speak. Prior to the APT festival, Anh had a total of six cashes, one of them earned in December 2017 while the rest were claimed this year. Two months ago, he placed 2nd out of 348 entries at the National Poker Championship Main Event in Da Nang, Vietnam earning his first five-digit payout of $12,309.

Fast forward to the APT festival, Anh cashed in a total of five events:

1st Championships Event
15th Monster Stack
11th No Limit Hold’em
8th WeLoveSport Deep Stack Turbo

This generated a grand total VND 1,381,600,000 (~$59,700) to add to his growing portfolio. In addition, Anh won the APT Player of the Series, pocketing another $800.
