Asian Poker Tour releases 2020 schedule of events

In two month’s time, the curtains will draw on 2019. Players will go on a short break to enjoy the holidays and spend their winnings. Before doing so, it would be wise to start planning for 2020.

Releasing their schedule early is the Asian Poker Tour, the longest running brand in the region. Last year, the tour hosted nine events; this year they will wrap up with 11 events. For the coming year, they’ve bumped it up to 12 events. It will undoubtedly be an exciting year for the APT as they return to popular locations, introduce new stops, and host an 18-day Korea swing. Take a look at the schedule below and start plugging them in your calendar.

Asian Poker Tour 2020 schedule

January 8 to 19: APT Vietnam Ho Chi Minh

Venue: Pro Poker Club, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
For the past two years, the APT has held their yearly kickoff event in Ho Chi Minh City. They will do so again in 2020.

February 12 to 23: To be announced

March 4 to 15: APT Taiwan

Venue: Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association (CTP Club), Taipei City, Taiwan
This year, the APT found a home at the CTP Club in Taipei City hosting two events plus their annual finale yet to come in late-November.

April 7 to 18: APT Vietnam Da Nang

Venue: WIN Poker Club, Da Nang, Vietnam

April 27 to May 10: APT Philippines (Subject to regulatory approval)

Venue: Resorts World Manila, Newport City, Philippines
When it comes to APT stops, the Philippines is home base, specifically at Resorts World Manila. Year after year, this stop has consistently been the most popular.

June 3 to 14: APT Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh

Venue: Pro Poker Club, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
The tour’s second intended visit to Ho Chi Minh City in 2020.

July 1 to July 12: To be announced

July 25 to August 11: APT Korea Swing (To be confirmed)

APT Korea Swing runs for 18 days. This will be the first-ever APT event with two local stops running back-to-back. The first seven days will take place in Seoul then the tour hightails it to Incheon for the remaining 11 days.

APT Korea Seoul: July 25 to July 31

Venue: Paradise Casino, Grand Walkerhill, Seoul, South Korea

APT Korea Incheon: August 1 to 11

Venue: Paradise City Incheon, South Korea

September 10 to 21: APT Philippines (Subject to regulatory approval)

Venue: Resorts World Manila, Newport City, Philippines

October 7 to 18: APT Taiwan
