As one of Asia’s finest all around players, Tsang’s portfolio contains pages of accomplishments dating back to 2009. To date, he has accrued nearly $ 3 million in live earnings. His largest cash of $ 921,004 was won at the 2013 GuangDong Asia Millions Main Event in Macau where he finished in 7th place. In 2018, he landed his first career title at WSOP Europe in Rozvadov at the € 2,200 Pot Limit Omaha 8 Max for € 91,730 (~US$ 105,428). Briefly recapping the action, after seven and a half hours of play, the final table was formed at the fall of Yigit Aksoy “Gandhing1212” to Mohaiman Ashrafee “Ironman3000”. Tsang was the only golden boy at the table. Not only did he enter with the chip lead, he was also guaranteed to pocket his 11th cash this series. Also on the round was high roller Nobuaki Sasaki “Sasa JHR” who was on his second final table visit this series and looked to go all the way after taking 4th at the $10,000 Short Deck No Limit Hold’em Championship. Australia’s Malcolm Trayner “HappyWhale” was also hoping o improve on a previous finish. Back in 2018, Trayner finished 2nd at the WSOP International Circuit $ 500 Opening Event in Australia, just missing the signature ring.

It would take nearly two hours to reach the finish with Tsang railing four players along the way. His first was Eder Rodrigues Campana “BlueMoon” who like Tsang was on his 11th cash this series. After Sasaki tumbled in 8th place to Stephen Holford “supernuts21” and Marc Carola “Face-O” (7th) to Ashrafee, Tsang denied the hopeful Trayner in 6th place. Out next went Wong Soon Heong “SMLJtroll” whose chips drained out until the last of it went to Holford.

At four remaining, Tsang muscled the table to amass well over half the chips in play then surged further after railing Amir Dvir “8ty4calling8” when his A-4 improved to a full house on the flop to dust pocket eights. Cutting the gap, Ashrafee finished off Holford in 3rd place to face Tsang at heads with Tsang up 3:1.

The final battle for the gold lasted for 45 minutes. During that time, Ashrafee impressively grinded to par, however Tsang tightened ship winning multiple big pots to build a wide 5:1 gap. See hand below. From there, Tsang went on to win with KhQd straight to QsJd on a final board JcAh10d9d10h. For runner up Ashrafee, his efforts may have missed the gold however he still collected a sizable six figure payout worth $ 116,808.65.
